Who is Run Don't Walk designed for?

Run Don't Walk is designed for runners who want to document all of their racing training activities.  The day has changed from where runners only run.  Now they are  participating in all sorts of cross training activities.   Runners are biking, weight lifting, roller blading, swimming and much more.  You name it, somebody is doing it.  Run Don't Walk will let you document and track virtually any kind of cross training activity.

What can it do for me?

Have you ever wondered how your pace has improved over all of your races or training runs? Have you ever wanted to track the progress, chart your improvement, track your weight, find out how much distance you have put on a particular pair of shoes (or any other training equipment like gloves, your bike or roller blades), or schedule races or events coming up in the future? How about a pace calculator, a pace chart, or the ability to customize a racing or training report to display only what you want to see? Would you like to attach race pictures to race entries?  These are just a few of the things Run Don't Walk can do for you.  See the Features page for more information or go straight to the Screen Shots for a thorough representation of what you can look forward to from Run Don't Walk.

How many people can use this program?
One of the features that sets Run Don't Walk apart is that it can be used by any number of people. Each user’s information is tracked separately and independently. The user profile, lists, and user preferences allow each user to tailor the program to their own needs.  Allowing multiple users is ideal for families, track teams, and running clubs.
How did Run Don't Walk get started?
Run Don't Walk was first thought of in 1996 when we went looking for software that would let us document and track our racing and training.  Our competitive history covers cross country, indoor track and spring track from junior high school through college.  Through the years we have picked up various forms of cross training activities such as biking, swimming, weight lifting and roller blading.   A lot of the running programs we found had some of what we were looking for but no one program alone could do the job.  Since our careers are in software development we figured, why not build it ourselves?  The result... Run Don't Walk.
