A special section for weight training? It was expressed by many runners who
tested Run Don't Walk that they would like to see a training section devoted solely to
weight training. It appears that more and more runners and cross trainers go to
the gym and lift weights on a regular basis. The screens below make up the weight
lifting section.

Weight Training Chart
This is the main weight lifting window. It defaults to display your 12 most
recent entries and charts them.
Key points of interest:
 |
The navigation options, located in the upper right hand corner
of the window, makes viewing years of training quick and easy. You can move in sets
of 12 or start at a specific date. |
 |
The graph at the bottom of the window shows the progress for
the entries above, by default. Right-click on the chart and you have the following
options. |
 |
 |
The top three items (Line Graph, 2D Bar Chart, and 3D Bar
Chart) are choices for the presentation of your information |
 |
Display Entries Above: shows the entries that are
currently being displayed in the list |
 |
Display [date] To Present: shows all entries from the
first date in the list being displayed to the most recent entry. |
 |
Display All Entries: shows all entries for that
exercise type. |
|

This window is where you add new and modify existing weight lifting entries.
These entries will appear in the training journal like any other training entry.
The entry will be named "Weight Lifting [Auto Entry]".

weight lifting type maintenance window displayed below. |

Weight Training Print Options
The weight lifting section of Run Don't Walk has some very special
printing capabilities.
Key points of interest:
 |
Basic (up to 12 entries): this option will print the entries that
are currently being displayed in the weight lifting chart.
 |
The "Show Graphs" option will print the
progression chart for each exercise type. |
|
 |
Detailed (up to 60, most recent): this option will print the
entries for the 60 most recent entries you have recorded. If you do not have 60
entries, it will print as many as you have.
 |
The "Show Graphs" option will print the
progression chart for each exercise type. |
|
 |
For the Gym: this print option is used when you go to the gym to workout.
It has two parts:
 |
The first part is the number of columns you want to leave
empty. You would want to leave at least one column empty to record your workout for
that day. If you planned to go away for several days and intended to workout, you
might leave 4 or 5 columns empty. The choice is yours. |
 |
The second part is the number of empty rows you want.
You would want to add empty rows if you plan to do additional exercises than you have
previously defined. Add as many empty rows as you want. |
|
