Race Entry Screen

This screen is used to enter your race entries.  The key points of interest are:

Age - As you look through your history, see your age on race date.  This is automatically calculated from your date of birth and the date of the race.  The date of birth information is entered in the user profile.

Race Type - Select from your list of race types.   This is used to easily categorize your races (e.g. Road Races, Track Meets, Trail Races, etc.) for easy reporting.
Race Name - You can enter a race name or enter one from your race history.  If an existing race name is selected, it will automatically populate the "Location" and "Distance" fields for you.
Distance - You have the flexibility to enter your race distance in Miles, Kilometers, Meters, or Yards.
Time - You can enter time from 99 hours, down to 1/100 of a second.  This gives you the flexibility to track your long distance races as well as your shortest sprints..
Pace & Speed - Your pace and speed is calculated based on your Time and Distance.  You have the option to see your pace and speed in English or Metric measure.  You can change this option at any time in your user profile.
Gear Used - This is a very special feature of Run Don't Walk.  Simply select from your list of Athletic Gear (e.g. shoes, bikes, etc.), and the mileage and/or time for the race entry is automatically added to the gear's usage.  This is combined with your training entries for a complete understanding of how much use you are putting on your gear.
Heart Rate - You can enter up to three heart rate values for the race entry.  They are combined with values for training entries and individual heart rate entries (entries not associated with racing or training entries) on the Heart Rate Journal.

As you make changes to the race journal window (either adding or removing races or changing the filter or sort criteria), the Race Progression window is automatically updated so you can see your results immediately.

When you move the mouse over a data point in the graph, the corresponding race information is displayed in a small popup window, as displayed above.  You can double-click on this popup window to bring up the race entry window.

Race Filter

Race Filter Screen

This screen allows you to set a custom filter on your race entries.  This is done by using "smart selections" that provide you with appropriate choices, based on your race entry information.  The above filter will display all of your race entries after January 1, 1995, where the distance was 5 Kilometers, and the pace was faster than 8:30.  The key points of interest are:

When you select a particular Column, the appropriate values are created in the value list based on your race entries.  This way you, do not have to remember what values to enter.  This is a very powerful feature that allows you to see your information any way you choose.
