Training Entry Screen

This screen is used to enter your training entries.  The key points of interest are:

Route: Your route, or training activity, is selected from your user defined list of training routes.  When you select a route, the route's Distance and default Gear Used will automatically be populated for you.

Distance: This is automatically populated with the distance that is associated with the selected Route field.
Time - You can enter time from 99 hours, down to 1/100 of a second.  This gives you the flexibility to track your long distance races as well as your shortest sprints..
Pace & Speed - Your pace and speed is calculated based on your Time and Distance.  You have the option to see your pace and speed in English or Metric measure.  You can change this option at any time in your user profile.
Gear Used - This is a very special feature of Run Don't Walk.  Simply select from your list of Athletic Gear (e.g. shoes, bikes, etc.), and the mileage and/or time for the race entry is automatically added to the gear's usage.  This is combined with your race entries for a complete understanding of how much use you are putting on your gear.
Heart Rate - You can enter up to three heart rate values for the training entry.  They are combined with values for training entries and individual heart rate entries (entries not associated with racing or training entries) on the Heart Rate Journal.

Training Filter

Training Filter Screen

This screen allows you to set a custom filter on your training entries.  This is done by using "smart selections" that provide you with appropriate choices, based on your training entry information.  The above filter will display all of your training entries for the year 2002, that are "Running" training types, that have a pace faster than or equal to 7:00 and where you used your "Nike Air Max International" shoes.  The key points of interest are:

When you select a particular Column, the appropriate values are created in the value list based on your training entries.  This way you, do not have to remember what values to enter.  This is a very powerful feature that allows you to see your information any way you choose.
